Thanksgiving Style Guide // 2017

Happy (almost) Thanksgiving! I seriously can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by. Winter break is fast approaching, I’ve had my Christmas decorations up in my apartment for almost two weeks (don’t judge me) and I’m currently packing for Thanksgiving break. I’m really excited to enter the holiday season – as evidenced by my putting up Christmas decor more than a month in advance – but I know the holidays can also be super hectic. I, for one, am going to be traveling between at least two different houses this Thanksgiving and what I’m going to wear is the last thing on my mind. So, I thought I’d put together a couple of outfits that will work for any kind of Thanksgiving dinner, whether you’ll be spending it with family or friends.

Friendsgiving

Heading to a casual get together with friends? Try something like this simple (but still very cute) outfit. The metallics and velvet top led holiday cheer to a very comfy outfit. Also featuring a metallic faux leather purse that is currently on sale for $14!

Sit-down Dinner Thanksgiving

If you’re heading to a sit down dinner then this look is for you! I love this bell sleeve sweater (it comes in three other colors, as well!) and I’ve always been a fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills’ liquid lipstick. Definitely be wary of reaching across the table for more turkey in this sweater, though – I can just see myself dipping the sleeve into the bowl of cranberry sauce.

Cocktail Party Thanksgiving

Whether you’re heading to an actual cocktail party or just want to get more dressed up, you can’t go wrong with a peplum-sleeve shift dress and silver accessories. I’m especially in love with the Kendra Scott earrings in this outfit!

Do you have your outfit planned for this Thanksgiving? What should I wear??
