Outfit of the Moment // November 2015

I know it’s been a while since my last post (almost two weeks!) so sorry for the delay.  Between parents weekend, being off campus for an entire weekend, and midterms, I’ve barely found the time to sleep.  But with this quarter drawing to a close I’ve finally found my free time again.

However, with the end of the quarter comes the beginning of winter.  And by winter I mean 29° with a 100% chance of wind and snow.  While that means I have a real excuse to stay inside and drink copious amounts of apple cinnamon tea, it also means it’s really time to pull out the parka. So I thought I’d feature one of my go-to outfits for this season.

I love this outfit because it’s so easy to wear under a big puffer jacket without being bulky and uncomfortable.  And, the layers keep me warm on their own when the sunshine combats some of the cold and it gets a little too warm for a parka (can you tell I love layering?).

I love this shirt because it isn’t just a typical flannel.  It’s actually a tunic with buttons just at the top but is still made of a soft, warm flannel material and I love the color and pattern.
