I know it’s been a little quiet around here lately, but I promise it’s for good reason: I’m on vacation! I’m visiting family in California and having such a nice time relaxing and enjoying the sun. So that’s my little update. But now, I’d like to talk about something I’ve been very passionate about recently: boyfriend jeans.
I’ve always been very steadfast in my denim choices: skintight or nothing (with the occasional 70’s-inspired flare thrown in the mix). But I recently fell in love with boyfriend jeans.
I’ve always shied away from them because I never knew how exactly to style them and honestly, I thought they were going to be super unflattering. But once I tried on a good pair, I realized just how comfortable they are! Compared to my jeggings, they feel like sweatpants and are really pretty easy to style. Styling boyfriend jeans is all about getting the right fit: they can’t be too baggy or too fitted. But there are so many options as far as denim wash and style. They come in black, white, destroyed, acid wash, and so many more. I have this lighter wash pair with distressing and big holes in the knees that I love, as well as the dark pair I’m wearing here.
