Glossier has been name-dropped by my friends and fellow makeup-lovers for a while now. I always loved the beautiful pale pink and white packaging (that’s pretty much my aesthetic, no?) but I never quite got the hype. Well, I was recently given the opportunity to test out some of Glossier’s most popular products and I have to say, I’m very impressed. Read on for my thoughts on some of Glossier’s makeup and skincare!
By now, most of you know my struggles with my eyebrows. I’ve written about semi-permanent tints, microblading and the products I use on a daily basis. But my eyelashes are just as blonde and sparse as my brows. I’ve tried all sorts of mascaras, from drugstore to high-end, and have even had them tinted once or twice. But nothing was ever a real solution – mascaras clumped, looked spidery or didn’t do anything at all and darkening the lashes only lasted a few weeks at best. So I set out to find a serum that wouldn’t cost a ridiculous amount of money and would actually work. Enter: GrandeLASH MD Lash Enhancing Serum.
GrandeLASH MD promises longer, thicker-looking lashes in just three months. The formula includes amino acids, hyaluronic acid, botanical extracts and glycosaminoglycans for strengthening and conditioning. But does it work? Read on to find out how I fared with GrandeLASH MD Lash Enhancing Serum!
Happy spring! I know I said that spring had sprung last week, but if I’m being honest with myself, 55 degrees and sunny isn’t really springtime. But this week, the sun is shining and it’s warm enough to wear shorts! And, I only have two and a half more weeks of class before summer! Okay, on to today’s post.
A few weeks ago, Mikasa Beauty reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in trying their products. Mikasa is based in Vancouver and offers makeup brushes, lashes, hair products and makeup. I was given the opportunity to try their products at a discount (as always, head to my Disclaimer for more info on this!). Click through to see whether I think it was worth it!
